The past four weeks had tough ones. Girlfriend’s already terrible temper was bolstered by her pre-examination stress. Fortunately, I’m a week away from better days.

Not too long ago, we were sitting together atop the breakwaters.

The salty sea breeze, captivating night sky, you and myself.

Would it be nice to have a nice chat up there again? I guess it would.

I am so keen to get you up there again with me. We could pour our hearts out, share our views of our future, talk of hard times, of good times.

And of course, a stroll back along that familiar dusty track, a stroll back to the other world.

Remember the first time we set each other alight? I will never forget that night, the intent, feelings and emotions we shared. I can never conjure a phrase to capture that moment.

I could ramble on and on of how we felt; of how we confessed our feelings and desire for each other. And yet words carry no weight at all; they are nothing as compared to that moment itself.

The desire, excitement and passion now lost.

Only nostalgia. How I wish I could relive that night all over again.

Amidst the deepest of despair, there is comfort; the comfort of familiarity of the past.

Somehow, this has happened before. The lonely bus ride home at the darkest of night, the same indie tunes and a hungry and aching heart.

I want to hide away from the world, to be to myself. And yet, I fear that you’ll never want me again when I emerge from my abyss.

You hold so much sway over me and I love you so much. Too much perhaps, that my greatest fear is losing you. I can’t lose you. Not in this lifetime; not when I’m alive.

Stay with me and never let me go.

So many things have happened recently. I don’t know where to start.

Soon, I will be turning Operationally Ready!

This implies that more time and attention can be spent on the Pig!

Of late, we’ve been quite happy and satisified with life. Piglet just turned 20 (though she still behaves like a 20-month old at times); and we’re zooming towards our 1st birthday at breakneck speed! I must say that i’m so pleased to have her by my side! Why?

Let me tell you:

1. she offers sound financial advice.

2. she cheers me up effortlessly.

3. she cooks relatively well (relative to me.. hmm).

4. she’s so adorable!

5. **bonus** she does the dishes!

6. there’s definitely more to this list, but I can’t really list them all down at once.

That’s why I better start giving her more attention and appreciation.

(I don’t want my dishes to be washed by a dishwasher next time.)

The night sky seemed so beautiful then, with bright shimmery things dancing in the horizon. There was no logic, only feelings, emotions.

And how I yearn to relive the happy nights of the past. Or rather, how I’d like to live the past in the present.
